Club Competition Scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2008. Entry forms will be available from your coach. Club Competition Chair is Caroline Bannon who will be looking for volunteers. Test DaysWe are once again partnering with the Preston Figure Skating Club and Champions Training Centre with our test days. This will provide a lot of test days for skaters and their coaches to choose from.
Showcase 2008The show is scheduled for Sunday, April 15, 2009 at 2pm. Following the performance, there will be a family skate for everyone to enjoy and say farewell to another great skating season.

Fundraising
Please help out your club by participating in the various fundraising events held throughout the year. Optional fundraising events will be announced during the skating season.
Bingo
The Cambridge Skating Club volunteers at the Cambridge Bingo Centre on the following schedule:
Friday 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm during the month of September
Thursday 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm during the month of December
Wednesday 9:30 pm - 12:30 am during the month of January
Wednesday 11:30 am - 3:00 pm during the month of February
We need 3 volunteers for each time slot. Bingo funds are used to cover the ice rental costs. For each time slot you volunteer during the month, you receive a draw ticket for a $50.00 gift certificate.

Skater's Lottery
This is a mandatory fundraiser for all families. Purchase your book of tickets for $30, sell them for $40, and you save $10 on your registration. By selling the tickets you benefit the club in 2 ways: 1 - a portion goes directly to your club and 2 - a portion goes to Skate Canada for skater
development programs. Additional books can be purchased from the office.
