Name Tags
Please ensure that your skater always wears their name tags. This ensures that they are registered with our club and they will not be allowed on the ice without their name tag. The coaches are able to identify skaters faster and call them by name, and the name tag also indicates which group they are in. You should receive one when you register. If you did not, please ask for one in the club office. There will be a $1.00 charge for replacement of lost or forgotten name tags.
FYI - We register each and every skater with Skate Canada. This $32.50 membership fee is paid yearly to Skate Canada. Not only does this membership give skaters insurance coverage, it also comes with the privilege of belonging to an association which is recognized the world over. Since the Cambridge Skating Club is a sanctioned club with Skate Canada, the club and skaters are entitled to participate in competitions, take tests, and participate in various events the club may hold during the skating season.
For families needing financial assistance for their skater under the age of 16, Kids Can Play is an organization which may provide help. For more information, contact the club office or email kcpcambridge@yahoo.com.
